Welcome to the Beaver Scout section pagesBeavers is for boys and girls aged 6 to 8 and are the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday and can move to Cub Scouts between 8 and 8½. Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others as well as having Sleepovers. These are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home. They take place in suitable buildings, such as Scout Huts. |

In Fareham East and Fareham West we have the wonderful asset of having Everett’s Coppice as part of our structure for Training Leaders and Young people in all aspects of Scouting Skills from basic Camping to Backwoods style Bivouacking.

You are invited to the Annual General Meeting of Fareham East District Scout Council, to be held at The Parish hall, Holy Trinity Church, West Street Fareham on Monday 16th May 2010, 7.45 for 8pm, in the company of the Mayor of Fareham, Nominations will be invited at the meeting for the positions of District Secretary and District Treasurer. If anyone would like to be considered for these positions, nominations will be welcomed.
