Active Kids is back! Bigger and better than ever before.

easyfundraising

There's now a new and easy way for you to help raise funds for your group - simply by shopping online!

easyfundraising is a shopping directory that features some of your favourite online stores, including Amazon, NEXT, Debenhams, John Lewis, Toys'R'Us, HMV and over 400 others. All you have to do is use the links on the easyfundraising site whenever you shop online and, at no extra cost to you, your group will receive a free donation of up to 15% from every purchase you make. It really is that simple!

Gift Aid

Did you know that your Scout Group may be able claim tax back on subscriptions paid by its members? As long as your Scout Group is a Registered Charity, it can claim 28p from the Inland Revenue for every pound given as subscriptions.
Below is a suggested outline to help you create a GiftAid letter to give to your members:

Dear Parent/Guardian,

When you pay subscriptions for your child's membership, the Group, as a Registered Charity, is
now able to enhance that payment by making a claim to the Inland Revenue for tax to be repaid.
This is done through the Gift Aid scheme.
