Fareham East District covers the area from Catisfield to Portchester. This includes Catisfield, Hill Park, Funtley, West End, Town Quay, Wallington, Cams Hall and Portchester.

District Cubs Six a Side Football

District Cubs Six a Side Football competition is now confirmed and will take place on Saturday 6th March 2010 at Soccer City.
Full details will follow shortly but we need to know how many teams to wish to enter per pack.
Maximum of two teams per pack is allowed.

Arrive at Soccer City at 13-00 (1PM)
Start: 14-00 (2pm)
Finish: 17-30(5-30pm)

Teams of six plus substitute

There will be a charge for each team and this will be confirmed shortly.

Peter Moody appointed to County Chairman

Congratulations to Peter Moody on being appointed County Chairman at the recent County AGM.
We wish him (and Francis) every success in this new role and look forward to seeing him bring his innate enthusiasm to all of Hampshire Scouts.

Everett's Working Party - February 2010

Working Party at Everett's Coppice.
Please meet at the Coppice to help with the work that needs doing. The work varies but includes working on the deer fence, tree felling and brushwood clearance.
Please bring your own refreshments and work gear - stout footwear should be worn.
All help appreciated for as long as you are able during the day. Packed lunches advised. Sturdy shoes/boots and working clothes also advised.

Snow Update from the County Commissioner

Please remember our first duty is the well-being of the young people and adults in Scouting.

Don't be afraid to cancel or postpone meetings or events if in your judgement it's too risky for people to travel to them, and please advise your Groups and Units to do the same. There'll be another opportunity for Scouting to happen.
